Point-C Leadership Training


Small businesses often get stuck in their growth and development, because they, sadly, adopt a top-down leadership approach. This results in a company that functions with a handful of people carrying all the responsibility for directing and controlling people and processes as opposed to inviting collaboration and ownership for the culture, process and outcomes.

The MBS Leadership philosophy is uniquely effective for two reasons.

We believe effective leadership is based on principles of influence rather than power, position, and control (PPC). This means every person in a company has the opportunity to influence (lead) those around them in a healthy, productive direction aligned with the company’s Vision and Values.

Often, businesses view leadership narrowly through the necessary but limited lens of managers and other positional leaders. At MBS, we believe the goals of the company can be advanced far further by a collaborative approach, and not merely by managers and owners.

Emerging Leaders Training (ELT)

ELT is the foundation of the MBS Leadership Training and is open to individuals at all organizational levels. This training is based on the belief that effective leadership is always about influence, regardless of whether someone holds a formal leadership position. From this foundation, we train the concepts and principles that give participants the tools to lead/influence wherever they are in the organization. The ELT structure balances information, application, and practice within a cohort training environment, accelerating growth.

Positional Leaders Training (PLT)

PLT is designed for individuals who are either currently in management roles or on a positional leadership development track. This training builds on the ELT leadership foundation, teaching management principles and specific strategies that align with the broader Coaching & Consulting and ELT philosophy.
